EYH & MAP Power Skating

The Everest x MAP Elite Advantage

The off-season is the most critical window for an athlete to redefine their game, and there is no substitute for elite-level power skating. This program brings the Minnesota Advancement Program (MAP) blueprint directly to Everest Youth Hockey, offering a professional-grade training environment that bridges the gap between our in-season work and summer development. Architected by Katrina Stewart, a premier leader in skating mechanics, this curriculum is specifically designed to maximize stride length, master edge control, and build the explosive "first-step" acceleration required to dominate in modern hockey.

What sets this experience apart is the direct access to elite mentorship. Katrina Stewart is not only the program’s architect but will be on the ice leading sessions alongside her specialized coaching tree and our Senior Everest Staff. By focusing on technical corrections, high-intensity conditioning, and potential video analysis, we ensure that every athlete is pushed beyond their comfort zone. This is a unique opportunity to train under the MAP elite division standards, ensuring our players return to the winter season faster, stronger, and more technically proficient than the competition.
