The U8 age level continues learning to skate and starts semi-competitive play in a fun, high skill growth environment. Kids are grouped by skill level and play cross-ice hockey to maximize player development
Generally players are 6-8 years old and have completed at least one season of Learn to Skate (Mini Mites).
The season runs form October 1st - March 12th.
Practices are held at the Greenheck Field House, along with home games. There will be several away games and tournaments during the season.
We target 50 hours on the ice for practice, barring any unforeseen issues.
