Homecoming Parade! - Friday, October 2nd!

It’s time to show the community how Everest/Storm Hockey rolls! We’re heading to the Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 2nd, and we want our players out in full force to represent our program.

If your child played Everest or Storm Youth Hockey this past season and lives in the Everest School District, they’re invited to walk or rollerblade with us in the parade!

Here is everything you need to know to join the fun:

When & Where

Date: Friday, October 2nd

Arrival Time: 4:30 PM (We need helping hands to put the finishing touches on the float and get the kids lined up!)

Start Location: D.C. Everest Senior High Parking Lot

End Location: D.C. Everest Junior High

What to Wear & Bring

Gear Up: Wear your favorite Everest or Storm jersey, jacket, or apparel!

Transportation: Sneakers or rollerblades (don't forget helmets for rollerbladers!).

Candy: We will supply candy to hand out along the route! Kids should bring a small bag or bucket to hold their stash while walking, and feel free to bring extra candy to share if you'd like.

Parent & Safety Notes

Parents are welcome to walk the route alongside the team or cheer us on from the crowd!

Please ensure you make clear arrangements with your child regarding where to meet them at the Junior High once the parade finishes.

Let’s bring the energy, fill the streets with green and white, and make this a parade to remember!
