26/27 Coaching Information

We are always looking for Coaches & Parents that are interested in helping develop our Everest Youth Hockey athletes. 

All coaches must wear skates and helmet to be on the ice.

There is a list below with the requirements to coach. If you are coaching Intro to Hockey, you must complete steps 1, 2 and 3. If you are coaching U6 or older, you need complete steps 1 through 6. EYH will reimburse coaches for USA hockey registration fees upon request.

HEAD COACH SELECTION

During the team selection process, head coach candidates will be reviewed and evaluated. Head Coach selections will be made by the Director of Hockey and the Hockey Operations Committee.

EYH and USA Hockey Coaching Requirements:

1. Register with EYH
2. USA Hockey Registration - (Deadline - 9/30)
3. Complete USA Hockey Background Screening - (Deadline - 9/30, Renew Every 2 Years)
4. USA Hockey Safesport Certification - (Deadline - 9/30, Renew/Refresh Every Year)
5. USA Hockey Age Specific Module Completion - (Deadline - 10/31)
6. USA Hockey Coaching Certification CEP - (Deadline - 12/31)
