Players enter the tournament as an individual and are placed on a team. The Tournament Director and coaches construct teams based on their registration details. Teams are made to be as even as possible creating competitive game play.

Squirt: 2017 and 2016 (select 2018s)
- Athletes born in 2018 may register for Squirt division but must have previous full ice game play experience and have played on the top mite team their home org offers in the 25/26 season..

The Everest Fall Showdown is a tournament which players sign up individually and then are assigned to teams.
The teams are drafted to be as equal as possible based on the information collected for each player.
Team rosters will be posted at least one week before the tournament.
