Calling all girls born 2018 or later — your spot on the ice is waiting!
Everest Youth Hockey is building something special for our youngest skaters, and we want YOU on the team. Whether your daughter is lacing up her first pair of skates or already loves the game, our 8U and below girls program is the perfect place to learn, grow, and have fun with teammates who feel like family.
Spots are filling up fast — don't wait! Register today directly through Everest Youth Hockey and give your skater a season she'll never forget.
How to register:
Who's eligible: Female athletes born in 2018–2019, any experience level welcome.
Register with your coed Mite team first. This ensures every girl is rostered on a coed team, maximizing ice time and development opportunities throughout the season.
Then register for the Mite Storm Girls team. This additional team will compete in tournaments and jamborees throughout the season, giving girls a chance to play together in a girls-only setting.
Key point: The Storm Girls Mite team is an additional opportunity — not a replacement for coed registration. All girls should be rostered with their coed team, with the Storm Girls tournament/jamboree team as a bonus experience on top of that.

Frequently Asked Questions
Eligibility & Boundaries
I live outside the DC Everest school district—am I still eligible to play for Storm?
Absolutely. We believe every female athlete deserves a place to compete. Everest Storm welcomes any female athlete whose current home organization does not offer a dedicated girls’ program. We are committed to providing a home for players across the region to develop their skills in a competitive, girl-centric environment.
The Player Experience
As a female athlete, what can I expect from the Storm program? You can expect a program where female athletes aren't an afterthought—they are the priority. We provide a defined, dedicated space within Everest Hockey. This includes:
- Dedicated Facilities: Private locker rooms specifically for our female teams.
- Equal Resources: Full access to the same professional-grade amenities, high-performance training, and ice time as our co-ed programs.
- Elite Development: A coaching philosophy tailored to the growth and empowerment of female hockey players.
Can my daughter play for both for a EYH co-ed team and Everest Storm? This is a common "dual-rostering" question. Example: While many of our athletes focus solely on the Storm, we support the growth of the game. Please contact our Hockey Director to discuss dual-rostering rules and how we manage scheduling conflicts.
Girls Hockey 12U–14U: Storm Program Update
Everest Youth Hockey is excited to share that our 10U–14U girls Storm teams will be hosted out of Marathon County Ice Arena this season.
Registration for 10U through 14U girls hockey is handled through a separate site. Families can register by visiting the link below:

Important: Girls born in 2018 or later (8U and below) will continue to register directly through Everest Youth Hockey — please do not use the Storm registration link above for these age groups.
